+# Simple Waypoints
+
+This is a datapack for Minecraft 1.21.6+ that allows admins to manage waypoints. Waypoints are displayed in-world as a floating text box and are displayed on the locator bar.
+
+Waypoints can be customized by:
+
+- Display name
+- Text/icon color
+- Locator bar range
+
+> [!IMPORTANT]  
+> Only players with OP (Level 2) permissions can functionally use the modal dialogs but any player can see them.
+
+You can manage waypoints from the **Manage Waypoints** or **Custom Options...** button in the game menu.
